What Does the following uterine Ultrasound Result Indicate?
I was suffering from extreme pain during my menstruation cycle after doctor recommendation, i went for the ultrasound and According to the ultrasound report there is cyst in my ovary Ovarian follicular cyst . the size of cyst is 30*30*26mm & 12CC. Now Gyne has prescribed me 3 tablets on daily basis:- 1. Endo reg 2. Mecgla 3. Pyricontin-F Is this a correct treatment for this disease or i need to take another opinion. Pritika
As per my clinical experience, the uterine ultrasound is suggestive of benign condition of follicular ovarian cyst which is responsible for hormone imbalance , pain during menses with high or low blood flow during periods. The prescribed medicines are best in concern with the clinical condition, and it usually takes around 2-3 months for cyst to dissolve (if it is purely simple follicular cyst and not complex one). Be in regular follow up with your doc, who will evaluate it periodically via sequential ultrasound and guide you accordingly; there is no need of second opinion at this point of time.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
